About the Instructor:

“I first experienced ISR when I enrolled my 15 month-old son, Owen, into the ISR program.  Prior to choosing Infant Swimming Resource, I spent over a year researching other swimming programs.  I found that out of all the programs available to parents and their children, there is nothing that can be compared to the quality of instruction and care provided by the ISR methods.  It nearly took my breath away when I first witnessed my son independently floating on his back.  It was at that moment that I was inspired to become an instructor and bring this amazing program to the community of Queen Creek. I cannot imagine anything to be more rewarding as teaching a child these life saving skills. ”  - Angelee Holt

What your child needs for each lesson:

Each day you come for lessons you need to bring the following items:

  • Three (3) towels per student.
  • All children (who are not potty trained) participating in ISR lessons must wear the swim diaper that was delivered in their ISR Welcome Kit, or a similar swim diaper with a plastic lining to each lesson.  In addition to the swim diaper, each student (who is not potty trained) must also wear a plastic pant over the swim diaper. "Huggies" disposable swim diapers are NOT a substitute.  Adhering to this rule will help provide a healthy learning environment for your child as well as the other students.
  • Completed BUDS Sheet (Bowel, Urine, Diet, Sleep)

Please note that if your child does not come with the items listed above, I will not be able to teach your child on that day.

  • Sunscreen! Please protect your child’s delicate skin from the harmful UV rays by applying waterproof sunscreen. Sunscreen must be applied one hour prior to arrival, otherwise the lotion will not only cause your child‘s skin to be slippery, but would likely get into their eyes and cause discomfort; both of which would inhibit the effectiveness of their lesson.
  • Happy and supportive parents! Believe it or not, your child will be looking to you for approval and reassurance throughout their lesson. Even if you are feeling stressed at the lesson, it’s important not to reflect those feelings to your child. They need your encouragement, praise, and most important … your smile!
